How to enable & configure EDGE on iPhone

To enable and configure (i.e. Grameen Phone) EDGE on iPhone  you must activate the service from your service provider.

Now restart the phone you will see the "E" on your iPhone status bar on top of the screen.

Now just tap the  setting icon & Go to
Setting > General > Network > Cellular Data Network > APN (under Cellular Data ) 
Type the APN name as
"gpinternet" for Grameen Phone
"internet" for Warid Telicom
"blweb" for Banglalink

1. You might need to configure the setting after restarting your phone if you have no fix profile define via iPhone configuration manager on your iPhone, you may ask your IT guy or ask for the assistance to us.

How to enable MMS without 3rd party app on iPhone 3.1.2 firmware (Carrier GP)

To enable MMS first go to setting / general / network / cellular data network
in MMS add the following setting for GrammenPhone (other networks follow the same way)
APN: gpmms
User name: keep blank
Password: keep blank
MMSC: http://mms.gpsurf.net/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.2:8080
Keep rest blank.
Restart phone and go to setting / messages - you will now see new two options "MMS Messaging" and "Show Subject Field"
Put MMS on and go to home screen, then go to new message you will now have camera icon next to where you type text.
Press camera icon to take new picture or select from pictures you have in the phone. Select the picture you want to MMS and press choose. In put the number and send.
